Newburgh Brewing Company, renowned for its craft beer, introduced their first mass-produced product, Cream Ale. In their pursuit of establishing a distinctive presence in the highly competitive brewing market, they recognized the necessity for a compelling can design that would not only set them apart from competitors, but also engage and captivate consumers. After garnering widespread affection for their illustrated cow, affectionately named Betsy, there arose a need to refresh her image to, one that felt modern, yet remained memorable to consumers.

This need led to a revolutionized illustration system that contemporized the Cream Ale can design by incorporating new characters and hidden scenes that surprised and delighted consumers.
